The Blossoming Pose

Krystal Boyd & Ben

Not all of the 64 positions Vatsayana describes in the original Kama Sutra are acrobatic moves that require you to be a contortionist to pull off.

“The Blossoming is realized by lowering the woman’s head and raising her vagina,” writes the author of the ancient sex manual.

How to do it:
Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet hip-width apart and have your partner kneel facing you. Keeping your shoulders resting on the floor, plant your feet and raise your hips to meet your partners thrusts.

Why you’ll love it:
There are a ton of different benefits to the Blossoming Position. First, it’s perfect for both deep penetration and G-spot stimulation. Plus, there’s plenty of room for your partner (or you) to rub your clit at the same time. Win!

This yoga pose also works your core pretty intensely too, so it’s an ab-workout and sex position in one. What’s not to love?

Hot hint:
Can’t get comfy? Try putting a pillow under your butt for support.
