Actually, Bigger *IS* Better

Contrary to the phrase “size doesn’t matter,” women who reported the highest number of vaginal orgasms in the past month were most likely to say that bigger is better.

Previously, I’ve stressed that size isn’t all that important. It’s the positions that matter, not the penis size. However, today I’m going to present clear information about one of the most commonly asked questions we get.

Does a bigger penis make for better sex?

Until now, scientific research on women’s preferences has returned mixed results. Some findings say that women prefer longer penises, others say they like wider ones, and still others report that size doesn’t matter at all.

Most of these studies had either asked women directly about their preferences or had them rate the attractiveness of different male figures that varied only in penis length.

Now a new study, published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, found that when it comes to straight couples, a man with big penis will make a woman orgasm through intercourse more frequently than average or smaller men.

bigger is betterThe study explains: “Research indicates that women’s orgasm during penile-vaginal intercourse is influenced by fitness-related male partner characteristics, penis size is important for many women, and preference for a longer penis is associated with greater vaginal orgasm consistency.”

In the new study, 323 women, mostly Scottish university students, were asked about their recent sexual behaviors as well as how important penile-vaginal intercourse and other sex acts were to them. They were also asked whether penis length influenced their ability to orgasm with vaginal stimulation.

“Sorry to anyone who wants to believe otherwise but, yes, size does matter. A small penis can’t create the same sensation that a larger one can, and it can make certain maneuvers difficult.”
– Ana, 27

Defining “average” as the length of a U.S. dollar bill, which is 6.1 inches (15.5 cm) long, the researchers asked women if they were more likely to orgasm vaginally with a longer-than-average or shorter-than-average penis.

They found that 160 of the women experienced vaginal-only orgasms and had enough sexual partners to compare size experiences. Brody and his colleagues found the women who reported the highest number of vaginal orgasms in the past month were most likely to say that bigger is better.

Researchers say this might be due in part to greater ability of a bigger penis to stimulate the entire length of the vagina, in particular the Anterior Fornix Erogenous Zone, adding that these orgasms were reached “without concurrent clitoral masturbation.”

Keep in mind, according to measurements of over 15,000 men carried out in Europe, Asia, Africa and the United States, the average erect penis is 13.12 cm (5.16 inches) long. The average girth is 11.66 cm (4.59 inches) erect.

penis size does matterThat penis size really does matter, and that size affects sexual satisfaction, makes sense.

Sexual psychophysiologist Dr Nicole Prause and a team of researchers also published a study of women’s preferences, with similar results.

What’s interesting is the number of women in their study who said that they had ended a relationship due to the size of their partner’s private parts – 7% of women said because his penis had been “too large,” and 20% said it had been “too small.”

Most men tend to believe they’re smaller than average, and there’s some distortion about what reality is. However, if you’re a guy and you want to make your dick bigger, then read this.
